P. Young is a neurologist and sleep physician. For more than 15 years, he has been particularly involved in the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of sleep disorders, from sleep onset and sleep maintenance disorders (so-called insomnia) to types of pathological sleepiness (e.g. narcolepsy) and sleep-related breathing disorders, especially sleep aponea. Another focus of P. Young is all forms of nerve-muscle diseases (muscle inflammation, polyneuropathies and also amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS).
